So, as many of you know from a previous email I sent out-- Saturday was Free Museum Day! This year we chose to go to the California Science Center. It is in Los Angeles. The fun started before we even got inside with me trying to lift a truck off the ground. Watch the video to see if I could do it :-)
.It was a really cool museum, and the kids had a blast. Richard just soaked it all in, and Olivia got to push buttons to her little hearts content, as many exhibits had buttons to push. There were lots of hands on exhibits besides the button pushing ones. This movie is of Olivia playing in a fog exhibit. She loved it!
Olivia loved to play in the Kids Discovery Zones, which are for kids under 7.

They had exhibits on the body, plants, animals, light, transportation (on the ground and in space), and communication and buildings. The pictures above are from a view area outside the 3rd floor. It was so pretty to see the balls reflecting from the red roof as the sun shone through. It was a fun day, and we all really enjoyed ourselves. We got there right at 10:00 when it opened, and left about 3:30, because we were all tired. Olivia fell asleep on the way home in the middle of eating her snack.

We will look forward to choosing another museum to visit for free next September!
