San Diego Zoo
A couple Saturday's ago (18th), we went to San Diego Zoo with our friends the Howards. Our passes get us in free, and a guest. So, they were our guests for the day. We had fun seeing the animals eating, as most of them were doing. I'm guessing early in the day was a good time to see them actually moving about. We enjoyed seeing the giraffes especially, there was even a baby! We also enjoyed riding the skyride which takes you across the park in record time. Relaxing, and a great view! Olivia loved it as well, and loved looking over the edge. Here are some interesting pictures from our day. First, check out this bear. Can't remember what kind he is, but isn't that one of the weirdest faces? Cute, but weird. (You can click on it (as well as any other pictures) to make them bigger).
Here we all our at the front gate. The Howards (Dustin, Damen, Melanie) and us.
Dan, Olivia, and me hanging out by the bear.
Dan trying on a monkey mask.
Olivia and Damen being "bugs".
When we got home from the zoo, we finished planting our garden. Olivia loved "helping". We put that mat down to keep down the weeds, and so far so good. One week later, almost all our our garden is up, but the weeds really aren't :-).
