Saturday the 27th, we did a family picture taking at JC Penney’s with my side of the family. Dan’s parents came also for some individual pictures and a grandparent’s picture. Long story short, family cooperated, photographer wasn’t so great. The first session Dan’s face was missing in every picture. Then we wanted to get a cd of the photosession so we would have the copyrights and stuff. They were trying to charge us for 2 and not let us mix the 2 sessions because they had to redo the full family session where Dan’s head was missing. Whose fault was this? Ya, and they wanted us to pay for it. So, Scott ended up getting that resolved at a later date, now we are good to go. But, so frustrating at the time! I was there for a total of 4 hours with getting pictures done and trying to deal with them.
Sunday Dan's mom spoke in Sacrament meeting, so we went to their ward, then hung out after, had dinner and games. This is me and Olivia playing Harry Potter Clue. We played with Dan, his dad, and his sister Maryann and her husband Jeremy. After that, me and my brothers and mom went to the Christmas Village by my mom's house. This is us playing the Wii and playing around after that.
Monday night was Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins family Christmas gift to all of us, which was dinner at Golden Corral, followed by 2 games of bowling. They mixed us up for the bowling where we were with our spouses, but then other people we may not know as well. It was fun! We also got some great pictures of everyone playing.
Tuesday we went sledding, and in the evening we did a girls movie night while Dan and some of the boys went skiing. This is Olivia with her darling cousins on my side of the family.
New Year's Eve day was fun. At lunch we met up with Tiffany (Dan's sister), Jim, and their kids for lunch to celebrate Jim’s birthday, then went to hang out with Dan's brother Matt, Jaime, and their family. Below is the group picture, then Olivia on the saddle with her cousin Alyssa, then Dan and his brother, Matt.
New Year's Eve party was at my brothers house, and we had a great time making noise at midnight. One of my brothers even played his trombone!
New Year's Day we spent with my Dad and Laura, then headed home on Friday. I love hanging out with them at the end of every trip, it is so relaxing! The first picture is Olivia playing with Grandpa.
